Copyright and AI music policy

1. Overview
This policy explains the ownership, licensing, and copyright considerations for content created on Prodverse, including AI-generated music. We are committed to respecting intellectual property rights while enabling creative expression.
2. AI-generated content ownership
When you use Prodverse to generate music:
- Your prompts: You retain ownership of the creative prompts and direction you provide
- Generated output: AI-generated music is provided under a licence (see Section 3)
- Your uploads: You retain ownership of any original content you upload
- Modifications: Any edits or additions you make to generated content are yours
3. Licence for AI-generated music
What you can do
- Use AI-generated music for personal projects
- Use in commercial projects (videos, podcasts, games, ads)
- Release on streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
- Monetize on YouTube and social media
- Edit, remix, and modify the generated content
Restrictions
- Cannot claim AI-generated music was created entirely by humans
- Cannot use to train competing AI models
- Cannot resell raw AI outputs as a service
- Must comply with platform-specific guidelines when distributing
4. Important disclaimers
Note: While we strive to ensure AI-generated content is original, AI models are trained on existing music and may occasionally produce outputs that resemble existing works. We recommend:
- Reviewing generated content before commercial release
- Making modifications to ensure uniqueness
- Using content detection tools if releasing commercially
- Consulting with legal counsel for high-stakes projects
5. User-uploaded content
When uploading content to Prodverse:
- You must own or have rights to all content you upload
- You grant Prodverse a licence to display and distribute your public content
- You are responsible for ensuring your uploads do not infringe third-party rights
6. DMCA policy
We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid DMCA takedown notices. If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, please provide:
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- Identification of the infringing material
- Your contact information
- A statement of good faith belief
- A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
- Your physical or electronic signature

7. Counter-notification
If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notification including your contact information, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake, and consent to jurisdiction. We will forward counter-notifications to the original complainant.
8. Repeat infringers
We will terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights. Repeated violations will result in permanent account suspension.
