Plugg drum pattern
Written at 140-160 BPM, felt in half-time; dreamy, bouncy and swinging, with lots of space and beat skips. Here are its drums on a step grid, at the tempo it starts at, to hear and to change.

The pattern, step by step
Each step is a sixteenth note, four to a beat: step 1 is beat 1, 5 is beat 2, 9 is beat 3 and 13 is beat 4. A lit square is a hit; a fainter one is played softer.

How plugg drums go
Sparse, bouncy drums: the 808 stands in for most kicks, a low-passed, muffled clap on beat 3, few hats (open-hat eighths with a fill every other bar), a shaker on 2 and 4, a short snare roll at the end of every other bar; drop the drums for a beat or two at phrase ends.
