70-100 BPM.
Drunk, behind-the-beat swing; nothing perfectly on the grid.
A loose kick, a laid-back snare or rim on 2 and 4, swung hats; Dilla-style unquantized timing.
A melodic finger bass with chromatic passing notes.
Rich extended chords: minor 9, major 9, 11 and 13; ii-V-I and chromatic moves.
Rhodes, Wurlitzer, warm bass, soft drums, vocal harmonies.
The editor needs no account. Studio makes a whole song from one sentence, with an account and credits.
